Exercise: Character's Distinct Voice -lori chan-

k so i know this meme is for different chars but i thought it would be neat to compare how lori chan would act in each scenario as shes growing up, and show the differences throughout

1. Another character asks your character to come to a birthday or other party... in honor of a person your character doesn't particularly like.

series1 lori chan: OKIE a party is a party after all, i wanna big piece of cake and if there gonna be mean to me im gonna use you as a human shield! YAY PARTY!!
series 2 lori chan: do i have to? .........but-but-but i donn't wannnnnnnaaaaaaa!.... ugh fine.. but your taking me to get something to eat on the way home.... and im getting a big slice of cake!
series 3 lori chan:................................... no.just no. .... waaaaait .. *big fake smile* on second thought ive reconsidered suuuure ill go *holds a knife behind back*

2a. Your character has a big due date coming up soon and is trying to finish their project, but another character keeps coming and bothering them.

series 1: man go away, i got to get this done for......hey ..is that a anime disk? whats it about ... know what i dont care ANIME!! put it on put it on put it on. *jumps up and down in seat*
series 2: comme onnnnnnnnnn! go awayyyyyyyyyyyyy!!
series 3: if you do not leave right now, i will destroy you.

2b. Even worse: this character is not leaving.

series 1: ooh oh this one next! *picks another movie* what? work? what work?
series 2: *throws fit* onii chan!!!!!!! annie's bothering me! make her go away!!!
series 3: i warned you! *pulls out weapon and runs towards the nuisance* IM GONNA RIP YOU APART! *laughs*

3. Your character comes home after a bad day to see that one of their friends or relatives made them their favorite food as a surprise.

series1: ooh *gasps* im... soo.. happy.. cheese fries!!!!!!! yay thank you thank you thankyou *giggles* your soo awesome!  
series2: is there a catch..no?... GIVE ME!
series3: ..must resist fries.. must retain ..coolness....... AAAH! CHEESE FRIES!! NUM NUM NUM!!

4. Your character is lost in an unfamiliar city, and it looks like they'll need to ask a pedestrian for help.
(No, they don't have a cell phone or any other method of escaping this.)

series 1: um .. hello.. um .. mrs can you..um mr?..pl-plz ..someone.... *starts to cry*
series 2: hey mr/mrs yea you! can you help me? im lost! really? thankx mr/mrs!!
series 3: oi ppl! *stands on a bench and waves arms* someone tell me where the he** i can find the toy store!

5. Your character notices that a close friend or relative of theirs is sitting on the stairs, crying.

series 1: aaah no dont cry, *smiles big* its gonna be okay youll see! *smiles*
series 2: *frowns and watches for a few seconds and shakes her head and sits down next to them and puts her head on their shoulder* its ok, things will get better.
series 3: stop crying! your so annoying! humph!... .*taps foot and looks back and forth uneasily then sighs  and sits down next to them and puts a arm around them* okay okay, its gonna be fine alright? i promise so dont cry anymore kay? *smiles*

6. Your character wants to go do something fun, but someone reminds them that they must clean the house... before the guests come over this afternoon.

series 1: no! i wont do it! *thows tantrum*
series 2: but-but-but.. onii chan.. i-i-i ..aaw fine!.. *walks off grumbling*
series 3: no. im bored and i WILL do somthing fun! you clean!

7a. Your character is walking through a public place when they notice that a creepy-looking man keeps watching them.

series 1:.. .*whimpers* hes not here, i dont see anyone... not here, not here.
series 2:... *frowns*.. do you want something mr? ...um im busy.
series 3: .okay if you do not stop frieken me out i will kill you in your sleep!

7b. A while later, they notice the same man watching them again.

series 1: *runs faster starts crying and looks for gina * GIIINA!!!! GINA!! someones following me HELP!!
series 2: .. gotta be brave gotta be brave.. *gulps*..H-HEY MR! if you dont stop frieken me out ill, ill get my onii chan to beat you up!
series 3: that's it you weirdo get over here so i can pummel you!!!

8. Today is another character's birthday, and your character is about to present them with a gift. Your character then reaches into their bag/purse/pocket and discovers that the gift isn't there.

person 1: ...no no nono no no!! where is it?!! *looks through bag* *starts to cry* i'm sorry! i must have lost it it! ill get it you you later i promise!
person 2: AAAAAAAAACK its gone!! onii chan onii chan! i cant find my pre.. oh you found it! where'd u find it?.home?.. oh i  knew i forgot something.. so it was the present... weird i thought for sure i put it in my bag.. thanx onii chan!
person 3: .. oh .. it seems i forgot it.. ill be right back ill go get it *smiles and waves as she walks off* *comes back a few minutes later* see i told you id be back, i hope you like it *smiles*

9. Your character is about to leave the house in the morning when they realize that they are snowed in.
(Snowed in: when there is so much snow covering the ground, you can't even open the door)

person 1: aaaak! snow! so much snow!!! were all gonna die! well run out of food! well starve! goodbye cruel world ill miss some of you.. *cries*
person 2: ......onii chan! i cant open the door there's too much snow.. make it go away.. what do you mean you cant do that?!! you can do everything!!
person 3:... aaw crap.. i hate snow.. now how am i gonna be able to annoy go annoy eric and orian?? my day is ruined!.. oh well off to steal some books from geckie! *whistles*

10. Another character spills warm coffee all over your character's shirt, then immediately begins apologizing.

series 1: eeh! eeew coffes gross! .. *sigh* its fine stop apologizing..
series 2: .......... Annie your soo dead for this get back here!!
series 3: .*gives big fake smile* hey, you got any more coffee? *chases them trying to dump coffee on them as payback*

11a. Your character has been babysitting two young, hyper siblings for a friend. After many long delays, the children are finally ready for bed and ask to be tucked in.

series 1: *fell asleep herself* zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
series 2: okie okie.. um..  uh.. .. onii chan these kids want to be tucked in!
series 3: ok come on kiddies, up to bed *smiles and picks them up to carry them to bed* you've had a eventful day haven't you.

11b. They also want a goodnight kiss.

series 1: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz  
series 2: they also want a kiss!!
series 3: *kisses both on the forehead* sweet dreams, if you have any nightmares ill be in the living room.

12a. Another character recently hosted a party and has leftover cookies (your character's favorite kind). This character notices your character and offers the cookies to them.

series 1: ..*gasps and swipes them* your my best friend *happy tears stream down face* *happily eats them up*
series 2: eeeeeeeiii !! coookies! cookies cookies cookies! eats them immediately.
series 3: *swipes out of their hands and eats them all* .aaaaaaaaaah those were goood* thanx man!

12b. A third character notices this and seems disappointed because they haven't gotten any.

series 1: ..wait you wanted some? im... im sorry.. uh ah.. im so sorry!
series 2:... but they were myyyy cooooookies nita! and your fat enough already!
series 3: mmmm what?.... wait you wanted one ? ....... there's a few crumbs left.. *hands them the box*

13. Your character is alone in a room of someone else's house, and they accidentally knock over a vase of flowers. The vase falls to the floor and shatters. The host/hostess hears the sound and enters the room, immediately noticing the broken glass.

series 1: aah!! ..i'm sorry! i didn't mean it.. id say id pay but... i dont think my allowance could cover it......
series 2:.............umm..um .. heh.ah.... ANNIE DID IT!! I WAS FRAMED!!
series 3: okay im sorry but i cant nor will i pay.. hey if you dont want me to knock this stuff over, put it in a better place!

14. Your character is driving (or sitting in the passenger seat) when a bird suddenly hits the windshield with a loud smack.

series 1: *screams the rest of the car ride home*
series 2: AAAK ! that startled the crap out of me... stupid birdie.
series 3: DUDE THAT WAS AWESOME!! haha! you should have seen your face!!

15. Your character is attending a formal dinner party (of their own free will or not), and a well-dressed and unfamiliar man decides to talk to them about finance.

series 1:... whats finance?
series 2: umm who are you? ... um ONII CHAN some guys over here talking about money! did annie rob him?!
series 3: .....yea...... you can leave now.. .. go.. away..

16. A young child drew a picture for your character and wants to show them.

series 1: oh lemme see lemme see! aaaaaaaaw that's ... cute *smiles*
series 2: oooooooooooooooh looks nifty!! ... is it a cat.. what? a turkey?!
series 3: aaaw that's so cute, your getting really good at this, now draw me.
